Hi, I’m James — a portrait, headshot, and lifestyle photographer newly based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
My approach is collaborative, comfortable, and focused on capturing the genuine versions of the people I work with. I believe everyone has a creative spark, and photography is at its best when we explore that together. Whether I’m working with a professional updating their brand, a family celebrating a new season of life, or a high school senior stepping into their future, I create a relaxed environment where natural expression comes through effortlessly.
After years of shooting in Austin’s creative community, I bring a blend of technical skill, storytelling, and warmth to every session. I love using Boulder’s stunning landscapes — from Chautauqua’s trails to Pearl Street’s textures — to give each portrait a sense of place and personality.
